The tournament kicks off with group round robins before the top two from each group advance to the main knockout, while the rest head into the plate competition for another shot at silverware. The BDC Halloween Spooktacular takes place on Saturday 25th October at Ballers Blackpool, 21–27 Bethesda Road, FY1 5DT. Doors open at 11:00am, last registration is 12:30pm, and play starts at 1:00pm.
Entry is £15 per player. Payment should be made to Ballers Blackpool Ltd via bank transfer (Sort Code: 20-55-41, Account Number: 53055183). All entries should be made via Darts Atlas, and will be confirmed once payment is received.
Yes! The total £1,275 prize fund is guaranteed, and every penny paid in is paid out. All prize money will be paid in cash on the day.
The event starts with group round robins, with the top two from each group progressing to the main knockout. Remaining players enter the plate knockout. The format is best of 5 in the early rounds, best of 7 for semi-finals, and best of 9 for the final.
The winner takes £500, with £250 for the runner-up, £100 for semi-finalists, and £50 for quarter-finalists. Plate prizes include £100 for the winner and £50 for the runner-up. There’s also £25 for the highest checkout in groups, knockouts, and plate stages.
Yes — there are three dedicated practice boards available outside the main Board Room so you can get your eye in before play begins.
Absolutely! It’s a Halloween event, after all — costumes are welcome (but optional). Just make sure your outfit doesn’t interfere with your throwing arm!
